"BEWARE OF GUEST FEES!! Got charged an extra $37 to rent an additional room downstairs for an hour! As for the room that I actually stayed at had no hot water, bite by mosquitoes and bed is hard. I ended up paying a total of $110 for one night when the room should cost no more than $30 a night. I would never come back to Jaco or this hotel again! "

"The place is a rental property rather than a hotel. The host Carla was very friendly and responsive. The view was amazing. However, the property could use some serious work. There were holes on the wall, stains on the couch, splashes on the kitchen window shades, mold or stains on bathroom ceiling. The bathroom sink doesn’t work. "I'm sorry to say but be careful booking here. They did not honor our Expedia reservation and turned us away. We Just flew in and drove from San Jose then had to find another place. Everyone was booked and drove 30 min out of town to find another place. Then Expedia tried to contact them to obtain the refund and they are not communicating with Expedia and now Expedia is not refunding me. "
