My kid, wife and I are very happy with our stay, beat our expectation. The hotel is surrounded by tropical forest, like a beautiful botanic garden, quite and safe. The breakfast is amazing, love the swimming pool, check-in is simple and easy, spacious room, very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Good value if you're looking for a relatively quiet place in a garden setting close to but away from Jaco center. 24/7 security is good. Breakfast is fresh but the same every day. Not sure if it's different on the weekend but I don't believe the onsite restaurant serves lunch or dinner. Plenty of dining options nearby. The room was mostly clean. Some mold or mildew on the nightstand lamp cord. Hot water is limited and seems like it may be shared between the two duplex units. My son had mostly cold showers. I was more fortunate when showering early in the day or later in the evening. The pool is quite nice but there's limited seating and people tend to leave their stuff to "hold" it. The hot tub wasn't hot or working when we tried it. We saw the jets working for others but not sure of the temperature. Standing under the pool's waterfall offers a nice massage. Idiot guests feed the monkeys which has made them aggressive. Thought they were going to attack from the tree above the walkway heading to our room one day. Lots, and lots, of ants. Room safe didn't work electronically so the front desk had to give the only key they had. No telling what would have happened if we had lost it. Lock on bathroom door was broken. Overall hotel seems like it was amazing about 10-15 years ago. Hard to say if the current owner is working to renovate or just maintain. Would recommend because of the good value and relatively quiet, friendly staff, and picturesque setting.

Beautiful hotel !!! The free daily breakfast was fantastic - shoutout to Jordan! The staff at this hotel are super sweet and there are two kitties and a sweet guard dog on the property. Wonderful location as it’s close to downtown but also secluded enough for some quiet and peace. Wonderful stayed for 5 days, highly recommend!

Very quiet location and an easy uber ride to the beach, Hotel is a bit run down and a bit concerned no hotel staff overnight, just the security guy and dog at the main gate!

The photos are a bit misleading. The property appears to have once been a resort in its prime, but it now feels like it may have changed ownership and hasn’t been kept up the same way. The grounds are somewhat neglected, and overall maintenance seems limited. Parking is tight, and arriving at night was a little confusing. You drive along what feels like a narrow, one-way residential street, and the hotel sits right above it. The main entrance was secured behind two large iron gates, but the night attendant was very kind and welcoming, checked us in smoothly, and provided our room key without any issues. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, which we appreciated. However, the shower was frustrating — the water temperature constantly fluctuated, so we had to keep adjusting the hot and cold knobs every couple of minutes just to maintain a comfortable temperature. Because our room faced the residential street, the morning noise was hard to ignore. Between neighborhood dogs barking and neighbors arguing, there was definitely no need for an alarm clock 😅 On a positive note, breakfast was very good — hot, fresh, and with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, the biggest downsides for me were the condition of the grounds and the shower. With some upkeep and maintenance improvements, this place could really shine again.

This is a beautiful property there is a store close for snacks u can walk to right outside the gate, breakfast and lunch was amazing too! They are a dog friendly property which was nice but we had a small yappy dog that started in at 7am! And the shower was broke it is a dated property but will definitely be back. If u do not like small dogs prob not the place for you tho.
