Breakfast seemed like something from Aldi/Lidl. Room was in poor condition, especially bathroom. Air conditioning could with updating, either cold or over heating. As a result we got very little sleep. Best thing going for this hotel was the pool.

Lovely room with balcony and sea view. Amazing swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely grounds. Easy to get into and back from Syracuse using the 105 bus. Walking distance to archeological museum and San Giovanni catacombs.

a beautiful classic hotel with history as the first hotel in1862 sits on the top of a historic quarry. food was great breakfast buffet and dinner room was comfortable and had A/C working.

We loved the Villa Politi, a grand hotel with a very interesting history. The guest areas are spacious and the pool beautiful. The only concern we had, the dinner service was a little slow due to large tour groups dining, the staff were under pressure. We would have also appreciated tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel and staff!

Beautiful hotel and wonderful service, we had a fantastic stay in Siracusa! The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were comfortable and spacious, and we had a perfect view of Ortigia and the sea from our balcony. Incredible pool, free parking on site, beautiful grounds and convenient to get into Ortigia — what more can you ask for?

This hotel was lovely we were delighted with our room 102 fabulous with 2 balconies, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, was a real treat. Only downside is its a good 20min walk to old town and 20 Euros taxi back at night. We felt the hotel was worth the walk as pool area was great
