「This is my 4 or 5th stay in the last 15 years or so. I still really like it a number of reasons. But the property has degraded and grounds and interior maintenance have been neglected. I suspect it's because Hilton now owns the property. Talking to Hilton exec he said Hilton hotels, which manages their hotels only, and the vacation ownership side are different entities with very different standards. The grounds are looking somewhat seedy. The lush furniture that used to be in the units now...

「Room was clean and breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Have always stayed at The Boulders when in the area before, but opted for this place instead this time due to a terrible experience at The Boulders last time. Much cleaner, friendlier, and well-supplied than The Boulders (whose major redeeming quality is the spa) and service is impeccable. Love the balconies and Carefree is a nice little town with everything we needed. Will definitely stay again.」

When I asked the receptionist of the hotel whether or not I can have toothpaste, by talking to her, saying "Excuse me," with a calm voice in a polite tone, she was a little startle by being talked to. 「Our room had a pull-out couch with heavy stains on both cushions. We tried to flip it over to use the other side but it also had stains and were even worse. We didn't get a very clean feeling and were unfortunately uncomfortable with the rest of the surfaces.」

「Normally I would leave a great review for this property. I have stayed here several times for work trips. BUT when I arrived they told me due to renovations they don’t have a room for me and moved me to a Hampton Inn. Which was NOT even as close to being as nice to what I paid for here. Didn’t offer transportation over to the new stay. There was a weird smell through the whole place. None of my drawers would stay shut. No in house restaurant. The reason I book to stay Hilton is for a reason…The...
