. The room was much larger and beautifully decorated with a shower and bath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was okay - particularly if you like pastries, cakes and tarts. Good selection of cheese and cold meats. "The property was within easy walking of the main town of Stresa and much less expensive than the large hotels. It was also very convenient for accessing the ferries to the Borromean islands, a jewel of Lake Maggiore. The hotel decor was
luxurious
and the restaurant, which served a full buffet breakfast, overlooked a patio and gardens. The view from the roof top terrace was lovely. The only hitch was that I could not get the WiFi in my room to work so I had to use the WiFi in the main lounge....
