This was a great place to stay with an excellent location. They had a great breakfast with great coffee and an excellent bar bites with a glass of wine in the evening. Loved the young family that ran everything.

A lovely, clean, low-cost small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect… near the ferry, the lake front and the little village filled with restaurants.

Nice location

Perfect location. Room is quite spacious, but i have never seen such a tiny shower cabin - hardly possible to fit inn. Bed could be a bit softer. Breakfast selection not too wide, but enough and very tasty.

Position of the hotel is excellent public parking in front of the hotel which is near the ferry terminal The rooms could do with redecorating but were clean as was the bathroom the breakfast was excellent as were the staff

The room was clean and comfortable. We Enjoyed breakfast in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for boat tours on Lake Maggiore I would have liked some English channels besides CNN.

Breakfast was perfect in the morning, great location, and they offer tickets to the islands for better prices than at the docks. The owners are very attentive & will accommodate your needs. However, if you plan on staying out late (past 1 am) this is not the place for you as the door will be locked after that time and will reopen at 7 am. Will be coming back!

The hotel was situated very conveniently across the lake and very close to everything in Stresa. It’s a beautiful family owned boutique hotel with a wonderful view from the common lounge or lake facing rooms and the owners and staff are very welcoming. The rooms are a little compact but clean. The breakfast is a good spread. It’s a great place to explore the lake maggiore area as the ferry terminal is right opposite and there are various boat companies doing tours of the Borromean islands. Walkable paths along the lake too. Paid parking is across along the lake and the hotel provides a special rate ticket. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Disappointed

The photos of room when booking looked bright & airy with views to the lake. Our room was dark, dreary & outdated. I asked if they had any rooms with water views & was willing to pay for it, but they were sold out. I tried calling the hotel before our stay several times, but no one picked up. I accidentally booked two rooms on Hotels.com because it said my room wasn’t reserved thru the app, the hotel charged me for two rooms I never feel good about leaving a bad review. Location was ideal, perfect! Close to restaurants & plaza area & shopping, easy walking to lake was right there & private garden & estate was within walking distance. Walking the promenade along the lake was easy from hotel & beautiful. Lago Maggiore was amazing!! Hotel, not so much. I wonder if we had had a lake view as I had hoped & the room was filled with natural light like the photos, I may have had a different experience.

Hotellet var ikke som forventet

Hotellet er rent og har en god beliggenhed centralt i Stresa. Morgenmaden var ok med frisk frugt og pandekager. Personalet ved morgenmaden var venlige. Men værelserne matchede slet ikke billeder og beskrivelser. Vi havde bestilt 2 værelser med hhv. en dobbeltseng og 3 enkeltsenge. Begge skulle have balkon ud fra beskrivelsen og billederne viste flotte lyse værelser. Vi fik i stedet 2 mørke værelser i et baghus med vinduer ud til mørke baggårde. Dobbeltværelset havde balkon, men uden møbler og det var heller ikke egnet til ophold pga den mørke baggård. Værelset til 3 personer havde ingen balkon og 2 enkeltsenge mens den 3. seng var en gammel eenpersoners sovesofa. Vi henvendte os i receptionen. De lovede at skifte sovesofaen med en enkeltseng, men det skete aldrig. Vi havde et dejligt ophold i Stresa, men hotellet var ikke som forventet.

Beliggenhed meget tæt ved søen og med cirka 15 minutters gang fra togstationen. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale og alt virkede rent og sobert. Vi var også godt tilfredse med morgenmaden og rammerne for den. God plads og rolige forhold. Kande med kaffe og varm mælk blev serveret ved vores bord. Og vi var heldige med vejret i de fire dage i oktober, hvor vi boede på hotellet

Sijainti loistava, lähellä bussit ja laivat. Aamukahvi kunnon italilaista kahvia, ei mitään automaattilitkua! Muuten aamiainen aika suppea, eikä lainkaan vihanneksia tarjolla. Huoneen kalustus kaipaisi uudistamista, muuten ok ja valoisa kulmahuone neljällä! parvekkeella. Henkilökunta oikein mukavaa, ystävällistä ja avuliasta.
