The hotel bedroom was delightful. Lovely secluded balcony and view of the lake. Pool was great as was the dining room. It would however have been good to have a kettle in the bedroom. Also perhaps in the reception area a book detailing the trips available from Stresa with train times and interesting destinations.

We had come back from Lake Como and prefer Stresa 100% mainly due to location of hotel. Central for ferries and restaurants. Breakfast was very good but mostly the staff. They were all professional and very responsive.

Beautiful hotel, helpful and friendly staff, easy walking into town and to the ferry lines near the hotel. Great breakfast with everything you could want. We had a deluxe room with a balcony and beautiful view of Lago Maggiore but the room was extremely small.

All the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was superb. A special thank you must go to ADI as he was so helpful and nothing was a problem for him, he made our time at Hotel Astoria extra special. I highly recommend this hotel!
