"They gave us a handicapped room, and I accepted it, thinking the only difference would be the shower. However, when we arrived, the bed was a twin and very uncomfortable. We called, and they were very rude and unwilling to change the room. After some back and forth, they finally gave us another room with a queen bed. The room and bathroom were both very small. The personnel at the front desk were not friendly.."

"I recently stayed at this hotel. The location is great but we had a small hiccup the first night. There was an odd/bad smell in the room. We asked to change rooms and couldn’t do it until the following day. I got clean sheets to try to help the situation. The woman at the desk at night was very helpful and understanding. I had asked the following day AND at check out if I can be compensated anything for the first night since it was not up to par and I was told yes. It was my fault for not following through but I was then charged the entire amount for the room and I don’t believe I should have been."

"So this was my first time staying at Tru by Hilton. The room was pretty small, but it was clean overall. Unfortunately, there was a stain on my blanket, and although I waited for it to be replaced, no one ever came. The walls also weren’t very well insulated, so it was difficult to sleep because you could hear doors slamming, people outside, and cars driving by throughout the night. On the positive side, the lounge and breakfast area were really nice, and the breakfast itself was pretty good. The biggest issue besides the noise was parking — the lot was completely full, and it was extremely difficult finding a space. Most of the available parking nearby was paid parking."
