「A lovely spot in a countryside location. The cottage, on a working farm, was very clean and comfortable and offered everything needed for a short break. The location, to the side of the A54, was not without some traffic noise, but this was more than made up for by the ease of access to nearby market towns, the Peak District and Manchester itself. Farmhouse Cottage is somewhere we'd stay again.」

「We booked the cottage for a week's stay whike work was being done on our home. It was a real home from home too. Everything's there, including electric blankets to warm the beds. Although thd heating kept the cottage toasty, we turned most off except living room and bathroom. Loved the log burner too, a real focal point. Internet provided was good, a bonus as the phone signal there is poor, as is most of the local area due to hills etc. Would certainly recommend.」

「I live near Southampton and run a company based near Stoke and this is my favourite perch; the kitchen lets me eat normally as I tend to keep strange hours. Just right size and facilities for me. Could just as well be a perch for a countryside break. Highly recommended 」
