The hotel is essentially attached to the main train station, which is a super plus for daily travel and a bit of a minus in the evening where there are some shady characters on the street. The big minus for us was the fact that the bathroom is essentially entirely exposed to the room, with a sliding glass enclosure that does not block sound or sight. We had a superior room but barely any room around the bed so nothing gained from the supposed savings for not having physical walls for the bathroom. Hotel service is great, check in was super easy and fast. If we had to stay in Munich again, perhaps one of the other many hotels near the train station with real bathrooms a better option.

Great stay in heart of city!

Excellent hotel a service is top notch from the moment you check in, using the spa, room service, dining, housekeeping, etc. everyone is very helpful an attentive to the needs of the guest. Great location.

Pros: Great location and they served a breakfast to satisfy every palate. The room did have a safe and a small bar fridge and small tv. Cons: Although we had booked several months in advance and our Expedia booking was for a Std Double Room, 1 Queen Bed we were put into a Double Room French with a bed that seemed to be smaller than a queen. The elevator only goes to the 4th floor and we had to drag our suitcases and backpacks up a flight of stairs to get to our room. The website indicates the rooms were recently renovated and the staff insisted the room had been renovated within the past two years but what we saw were worn and outdated fixtures, a hairdryer that looks like it’s more than 10 years old (discoloured) and a dated shower stall that does not look like those on the website. The in room coffee machine was not free, you had to pay 2 or 3 Euros for tea or coffee which I have never seen before. In comparison, other top tier hotels that we stayed at during our trip either had free coffee in-room or 24 hrs free in the lobby. Our view was only of the rooftops and could see nothing of a courtyard or the street.
