"Lovely big room, comfortable bed, powerful shower. We had an issue with the TV, no sound despite not being on mute. Reported to reception within an hr, around 13.00. Went out, returned around 16.00 still no sound. Reported again around 18.00 as we went out for the evening. Returned around 12 MN, still no sound. Disappointing we had no update or information on the issue, reported it again when we checked out the following morning."

"Though we only stayed one night the Apex Waterloo was a delight. We arrived in the early afternoon, way before check-in but we were upgraded to a two story accommodation that was available immediately (for which we were grateful after a long flight)! We were surprised to find air conditioning. Most hotels in Scotland do not have it and the summer days can get quite warm. The hotel location is perfect for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. We enjoyed cocktails in the lounge after our day of sightseeing and breakfast was wonderful. The hotel stored our luggage while we toured the castle and unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy the pool or spa but we will definitely return! Thank you!"
