St. Brides Wentlooge

Driftwood Monster rising from the wetland The size of some of the debris in the area gives an idea of the strength of the spring tides.
Building in the wetlands, near Peterstone I have no idea what the purpose of this building was...some kind of lookout perhaps? Do get in touch if you know. It is located on the seaward side of the sea defence - hence the robust structure!

The room was clean, the hotel itself was nice but the room was very basic and old fashioned! It also did not have a heating but they provided a portable heater which was sufficient.
