We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Otunna Guesthouse. We came in later then anticipated, and Dinesh, the owner, was in constant contact with us. They offered fresh passionfruit juice on arrival, and made the most delicious breakfast every morning that was probably the best spread all trip. We had always wanted to stay on a Tea Estate in the hills and this did not disappoint. A great tour of the estate was arranged either the Tea Estate Manager and was an excellent insight into how tea is grown and picked. Great views from the veranda. Staff most helpful.

This is a piece of paradise! No way to describe how much we loved it. It’s tucked away in the jungle but you arrive to luxurious cabin surrounded by nature. From the fresh squeezed juice upon arrival to the magnificent dinner and an unbelievable sunset over the lake it was perfect! They made us feel like royalty. The nicest young men and the absolute best food in the entire country!!!

Spice House Hotel. It’s a charming place, styled like an old British bungalow, right across from Coconut Hill in Mirissa. The location is beautiful, with lovely views, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They offer a great breakfast included in your stay, and the internet is high-speed. Just one key thing to note: they only accept cash payments, even if you booked online through a site like Hotels.com. So be prepared with cash when you leave.

Besides the long steps up to our room, this was a very pleasant stay for my sisters and I. The owner was very nice and welcomed us. The property has such a beautiful view. The property itself is very cozy sitting on a hill. Every morning breakfast is served, fresh eggs, delicious toast, juice and tea. This is the place to stay if you come to Ella. It could not have been more perfect. You wake up to stunning views of the mountains and the most delicious homemade traditional breakfast. You can walk straight from the home to town or to hikes and popular sights. It keeps you out of the hustle and bustle of the street so you can really enjoy your stay. 11/10, loved my stay here. If I come back to Ella, I would love to stay again!

This was a gorgeous place to stay for my girlfriend and I. We had a beautiful room with a balcony that looked right out to the sea over the villa's gorgeous pool and backyard. The staff was so kind. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. It's a short tuk tuk ride from the down town area of Hikkaduwa, but it's nice to have a little peace and quiet here at this beautiful villa. I would definitely recommend it.

I loved this place. It was a very nice building and the owner was very helpful. The room was spacious and the lounge area was very comfortable with international TV channels. Breakfast was made for me whenever I woke up and it was excellent local food with a lot of variety. It is away from the main road, so very quiet at night. Absolutely beautiful and very comfortable stay, all due to Bernard's warmth, generosity and accommodating all of our needs. We are so happy that we spent time on the beautiful grounds in such a beautiful setting. Kudos to the chef who's dishes were truly amazing!

The host family is amazimg. The owner Denish is nice. His wife is beautiful and kind. She gave me a nice bracelet. And their daughter is charming. Heartwarmimg stay.

The property was really beautiful, in the room and in the common areas. The pool was pleasant and clean, the breakfast was filling and fresh, and everyone (including and especially Mr. Gomez) was extremely friendly and helpful.
