8/10 Good

"We arrived at 1.30pm. And were told that the room wasn't ready. Fair enough as we were early. Then reception said that if we paid $20 we could get in at 3pm. She then went on to say that it wasn't very busy, but would be by the time we were checking out at the weekend. Not very welcoming. Good room with balcony. The table was filthy. Lots of good towels. The toiletries weren't replaced while we were there. The breakfast was very basic but at least it was provided. 45 minute brisk walk from Ogunquit, so good for our exercise! 😂 nothing much round about but Ogunquit was good."

"Private parking was nice, the coffee and tea bar was incredibly appreciated and awesome; it even had espresso! They had bikes, chairs and beach towels which made it very easy to enjoy the nearby beaches. There was a vending machine downstairs that I didn't use but it was nice to see, especially since no stores in walking distance. There were no fridges or microwaves in the room but there was a community use fridge downstairs and a note that they had a supply of mini fridges available upon request. The room was excellent and the shower/bathroom was too. There was air conditioning in our room and the view of the ocean was incredible. The staff was friendly and there was an on site gift shop which was nice to buy souvenirs. This was a very excellent hotel, would highly recommend it!"

"The beds and towels were nice and clean… however 1 - 100% of the outlets in the room were so worn, a charging block fell out, so there was no way to charge our phones throughout the night 2 - the air stopped working in the night and miraculously started working around 7am…. So I don’t know if they put a timer on it to save money, or what, but it made for a miserable nights sleep. 3 - no light over the sink / mirror…. When someone was showering with the door shut, the other person has to put makeup on in the pure dark 4 - breakfast doesn’t open until 8… which is just lazy. 5 - the paint job looked to be done by a 10 yr old. Paint all over the cabinets, outlets, door knobs…. And I don’t mean slight misses…. Huge globs of paint everywhere. The reason this matters is because it showed me that the owners do not care about details…. Which is also obvious from the lack of maintenance on the outlets."
