The hotel was spacious, clean, and comfortable! Our son was impressed by how much space we had. He said it felt like a luxury hotel! lol Another highlight was having breakfast placed inside the refrigerator every afternoon which was both a time and money saver! The fresh bread that was hung on our door at 8 am morning added to the already tasty breakfast. You could make sandwiches to take with you on your driving adventures! The staff was wonderful, they helped accommodate us when our flight was cancelled and there was uncertainty about if we needed to stay another night or more. They helped answer questions regarding the apps that you use for parking as well. Knowledgeable and kind! We would for sure stay here again next time we are in Reykjavik!

The hotel was in a great location. We were able to walk to the black sand beach, little church in the hill, the soup kitchen where the lava show is. And we met our tour guide to the cave right across the street.
