Great location, very peaceful. Wonderful and friendly staff. We had the best meal (dinner and the breakfast buffet) here. I felt like I was at a Michelin star restaurant for dinner; it was so lovely.

This hotel was a perfect Icelandic experience. The food was wonderful and short walk to a truly black sand beach was extremely enjoyable at sunset. Would I stay here again, definitely!

Great spot, top notch. Views were amazing and walk to the black sand beach area easy and straight forward. There was a list to be awakened if Northern Lights showed (which they did) and really appreciated that option.

A gorgeous property. The black sand beach was incredible. The restaurant was first class. The breakfast was plentiful. I prefer showers with lips so that the water doesn’t flood. Very enjoyable, albeit pricey.

I had a wonderful experience here—the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The location is absolutely beautiful, with easy access to the beach just a short stroll away. It’s also conveniently close to plenty of great restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The hotel is remote but has everything you need including scheduling a massage. The rooms were comfortable, the bar and lounge area are exceptional, and we had the best food of the trip in the hotel restaurant. Truly exceptional.

Amazing hotel. Views and beach walk was amazing. Easy drive to vik and beyond. Restaurant was delicious but eclectic. If you want somewhere more casual to eat you have to go into Vik. Sauna was gorgeous and staff was great, highly recommend!

Beautiful, small boutique hotel in great location off the Ring road route near Skógafoss and 30 min from Dyrhólaey and black sand beach. Staff is lovely and dinner is great. It is somewhat isolated so dining at the hotel is the easiest as it’s probably a 40 minute drive to Vik. There is a 15 min private walk on property to black sand beach with virtually no one in sight for miles - stunning. At night horses came from the nearby farm to drink from the little pond outside our window and guests were feeding them. A great, peaceful hotel.
