「It's an old building with very cozy rooms, not a shiny new resort with a pool and gym. Instead you get a building that fits the area and makes you feel welcome to the area. The rooms offer gorgeous views across the river, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are spotless. The I wish we could have stayed a little longer and taken advantage of the common room with the fireplace and met some of the other guests.」

「What a wonderful first mini getaway of the New Year! We wanted a last minute impromptu overnight stay someplace not too far from home and the Carriage House was just perfect! 「The Inn was clean and rooms and bathrooms were up to date. Beddings were comfortable and cozy. The property itself was lovely. Our room had a small deck off the back overlooking pretty gardens. It was very peaceful. Also a shout out to Nancy who took care of all our needs and Willie who was immediately attentive to a small TV glitch in the room and had it righted in no time! Also breakfast was excellent so Kudos to the cook and all staff.」
