This was a perfect little get away as I did some family history exploration in the valley. Great little general stores in the villages and good food at Kempton Hotel bar/restaurant. The carriage house has such a peaceful vibe and beautiful views of the valley/mountains. Hosts were lovely. Would love to stay again!

Fabulous oasis surrounded by vineyards, farmland, mountains and lakes!

We loved our short stay and want to come back for a longer visit with our two kids. The space was amazing and would recommend this spot to anyone looking to explore the area.

The very best PA stay!

As usual, the hosts, Mark and Diane have provided my family with a comfortable, sparkling clean, and beautiful bed and breakfast. I also noticed lots of new furniture and upgrades this year (this was our fifth year staying here btw) which proves that these hosts are fully committed to providing vacationers like me with an unforgettable trip. I travel for business all year round so I’ve become very picky with where I’m staying and I truly can’t recommend this cottage and host family enough. We can’t wait to get back there next spring!Thank you again!

Awesome Stay

My wife and I had an amazing stay. It was a very peaceful and relaxing time. The owners Mark & Diane are a very heart warming, and welcoming couple. They made us feel like we were at home, and also very respectful. Would definitely recommend staying here. Loved it !!

Leaser Lake Carriage House

The carriage house was fantastic. My wife and I booked it for a night to stay after a local wedding. It's charming, quiet, and the amenities are awesome....right down to the breakfast sandwich machine and fresh OJ! Mark was great with communication. Overall 10/10 would recommend and come back.

Valentines Day Getaway

This was a wonderful place for a couple to get away for some alone time. The house was immaculate, well equipped with everything you need, and the owners made every effort to ensure your stay was perfect. They even provided me with a Valentines Day cake for my wife!!! We highly recommend this property, and we will surely return here in the future!!!

A Whole Package Stay

Awesome place! Host Mark and Diane are great and will care for all your needs. The house has a pool table, shuffleboard, a bunch of activities to keep yourself entertained. Relaxing Getaway

It was great getaway!!!! The owner was very hospitable. We were left complimentary organic breakfast items which were delicious. We also enjoyed using the pool table and shuffle board. Definitely a quiet place to stay away from home... Thank you.

Terrific stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Mark and Dianne’s house. We kayaked at Leaser Lake which is a short distance from their house, did a beautiful hike, and had a restful nights sleep during our one night stay. The communication with Mark and Dianne was amazing! The view from their house was beautiful, landscaping around their property is gorgeous, and the house was very clean. Overall everything was terrific!

Amazing rental

My husband and I had a lovely time at this Carriage house. We enjoyed the house and property. We briefly met Mark the owner who was very kind. The house had so many amenities which made it definitely a home away from home. The scenery and weather were perfect, and we loved staying here. The area was so quiet, and we saw so many stars at night when outside. Thank you!

Fantastic property and hosts!

We came for my husband’s 50th birthday, and we couldn’t have been happier than we were at this property. Everything was perfect, and we were sorry to have to leave! There were so many fun things to do, and games in our ‘apartment’, that we could have spent all of our time there happily. Mark and Diane were friendly, and checked on us just enough to ensure that all of our needs were met. We will definitely try to stay with them on our next trip!

Impeccable cottage with beautiful views!

The cottage is impeccably clean and the views of the mountains are stunning. The space is very comfortable for 4 people and it contains a pool and shuffle board table which was so much fun! The hosts Mark and Diane were wonderful - hospitable and very friendly. I have an allergy and they accommodated me which I really appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Clean and tidy rental! Wonderful, friendly hosts. The perfect find!

We will be sure to come back when we can stay longer, one night just didn't feel like enough! The hosts were spectacular to work with - making sure you knew about places to go to in the area and suggesting things we may like. There are a lot of wineries, breweries, and some antique stores in the area. We appreciated the rental being SUPER clean...and the pool table and shuffle board table were awesome. Relaxing

This property was immaculate. We enjoyed the shuffleboard and the pool table. The lake is lovely...I wish we had rented some kayaks. We stayed three night. We only went out to eat once. The kitchenette and gas grill provided everything we needed to cook meals. It was very quite and relaxing. The hosts, Mark and Diane, were extremely nice.

Great country setting.

The area was like a trip back in time. The entire community is so laid back, down to earth and friendly. Good quality country folk and my expectations were exceeded. The property was awesome, the hosts were awesome and if you can't find enough things to do then you aren't trying very hard. The room was very unique, comfortable and relaxing. We hope to return again soon because we have so much more to see, do and enjoy in the area.

Short but sweet stay

My husband and I had a great overnight stay at the Carriage House. Everything at the house was well thought out, from the food to the largest guest book I've ever come across. We really appreciated having the pool table and shuffleboard and the comfortable couch on a rainy Saturday night. Wish we could have stayed longer. We really look forward to returning to the property to fully take advantage of all that it has to offer. The lake, the hiking, and even the fire pit in the courtyard will all draw us back. Many thanks to Mark and Diane for their hospitality. Hope to be back again soon.
