"I can't rave enough about this hotel. Everything was exceptional, from the delicious breakfast we enjoyed everyday to the awesome, helpful and friendly staff, I would give it all a 10 out of 10! We were traveling with our 3 children 2 of which are 8 and under and there was a couple events that really could have made for an extremely bad stay. But the kindness shown to us by the staff simply blew us away! The first night we were there one of our kids got sick in bed in the middle of the night. We called the desk to ask for a change of sheets and couple of minutes later Blake shows with the sheets, a mop, disinfect cleaner and a compassionate midnight smile to help clean up the mess. Really everyone there treated us like we were old friends and it set the mood for many of the guests as well. The complimentary daily breakfast buffets and nightly kick backs saved us so much money and honestly the food was delicious(especially the breakfast potatoes and biscuits and gravy). We had all but given up on staying in hotels but the Drury in Merimar Beach Florida has changed our minds and will certainly be looking at staying with them again the next time we go anywhere!"

"The property was in a great location, newer hotel and staff was friendly. Cleaning could be better as there was hair throughout the bathroom and on the bed when we checked into our room. Also when we asked a housekeeper for towels we were initially told we had to wait for our specific housekeeper to clean our room. When asked why, she did eventually provide 2 of the 4 towels requested."

"Not sure if room was ENTIRELY cleaned.. my fiancée found earrings, food chunks under the counters in the kitchen the floor of the kitchen was sticky and we had a used soap bar. Breakfast was OKAY eggs seemed processed , similar to McDonald’s scrambled egg, but we did enjoy different options each morning of our 4night stay. Laundry machines were $3 a use, usually Mariott offers detergent to purchase, lucky for us there was a CVS in walking distance. Aside from minor issues staff was very helpful and for the most part welcoming. We’d stay again no doubt."

"We had a beautiful room we did have to ask for extra toilet paper and it was a bit noisy outside on if you were sitting on the balcony but nothing to bad just trucks coming and going once in a while. There are houses behind the that do block some of the view but we could still se some water from our room which was nice. Plenty of parking but one elevator was down the entire time but it didn’t hold us up at all. We have stayed at Sandestin before just at a different location and we liked next door a bit better."

"Our stay was great the only issue was the entry gate process. Several of us had to wait until a guard arrived to open to gate. And the parking garage was very low, when I opened the trunk door on my van, my wiper got scratched."
