"I was nervous since I’ve never spent this much on an overnight stay before but everything was perfect. Reception was great and welcoming. The room wa a beautiful and spacious. The food was amazing!! And they brought it to the room (the sever we had was so nice and friendly). Our room had a outdoor bath and it really hit the spot. 10/10 experience I would stay here again and recommend to my friends."

"It’s actually one of the most ridiculously overpriced onsen hotel I have ever been. We travel around Japan and have been living in many similar styled ryokans and rarely run into such disappointments. The hotel obviously has dinner option. But neither Expedia nor the hotel provide proper communication for such option. "I have stayed here once before - it's perfect for a quick stay in Kagoshima city. Located in a quiet corner of Tenmonkan near shops and restaurants. It's very clean and quiet. The breakfast is a set menu, which I do not recommend for vegetarians/vegans (am one myself) but the parts I could eat were good. I will stay again if I need to stay in the area for a short time. "
