「A prefect little home away from home. We rented Bear Paw Cabin #7 because it was more secluded than the rest of the cabins. We got that "in the middle of woods" aesthetic while being only a short drive away to the town of Helen. It was like being "off-grid" but with the amenities of being at home (water/electricity, we can't live without it lol). Myself, my husband, and our two teenagers had plenty of room. We really enjoyed our stay, check in/out was super easy. Penny, our host, was...

「There was torn towel in the bathroom. Felt like a piece of old rag that they keep washing and placing in the bathrooms. Most functions of the jacuzzi, including the lighting system were inoperative. The dishwasher, apparently new, was unable to clean dishes. During one of the cycles, the dishwasher ran for several hours without stopping. Had to stop the wash cycle by opening the dishwasher door.I have stayed in the area several times before, but not this particular property. I was not impressed...

「We travel to Dahlonega several times a year and have rented dozens of vacation properties. This property is our new favorite! The cabin is quiet and secluded, and nicely furnished. The real standout was the deck overlooking the Chestatee River. It's huge! We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings watching the birds, fireflies (or lightning bugs as we called them growing up), and other wildlife. We even saw an otter. It was warm during our visit, but a morning rainstorm gave us a hint of...
