Quality Inn & Suites near Six Flags East

"Lady at the desk was incredibly rude, acted like it was a bother for us to check in or to ask questions. The whole place has a horrible smell to it. Carpet held together with silver tape in the hallways, and very dirty in areas. The rooms were run down, plaster on the cracks in the shower. Only provided 1 towel for a double queen bed room with multiple guest. Pool water was clean but gate was locked and the hours were 9am to 12pm only. The "continental breakfast" was severely lacking in fresh foods. The man cooked the eggs and potatoes in the microwave on the bar and dumped them into the serving container. Also watched the cameras as we were taking thing out to our vehicle prior to check out and when we took items out and tried to come back to get the rest they had already deactivated the card. This was at 1030 and check out was at 11, so plenty of time left before having to be out. This place had a bed to sleep on and that was it. It needs a lot of work done to it and definitely new staff operating it."

"I’ve stayed at quite a few hotels that have, let’s say, not 5 stars. I can only guess that a lot of bad reviews are from people hoping to get a discount or refund, or even maybe just trying to fit in with the “cool” kids. Let’s see, I have never slept on a hotel bed more comfortable than these. You could just sink right into the bed. The pillows were the softest ever. They had to be some type of real feathers. The room was very clean. It had everything you would need. I asked to check out at 12 and they were very nice and accommodating. Let’s stop giving some of these hotels such bad reviews just because you like to nitpick at every single little detail. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for anything else in a room. Many Thanks"

"Made a reservation through Hotel and management would not let me get a room. Claimed something was wrong with the payment (expired card). Mind you — I had a receipt that showed the room was paid for. When I asked buddy why was he trying to charge me again, he told me not to question him. Hotel tried calling over and over again and no one could get through. Never again will I book a room at this location."
