"Overall a nice hotel. My door did not close on its own, and needed to be repaired, the pipes are noisy, the walls are thin, and a few other things about the place that are easily forgotten about. The staff by far is what stands out as the best thing about this hotel. The staff was really good. Especially the valet staff, they were incredible."

"The beds were in poor shape, hard in several places, costing my guest and myself to lose a decent night's sleep. The bathtub was extremely small, hard to get into, and lacking any handrails to assure our safety while showering. The ad featured the use of computer resources; none were available. The room rented was at a premium cost, as I intended to treat my guest to a fancy stay in a quality hotel. Shame on you, Hyatt Regency Atlanta! "

"We were really happy with the Kimpton Shane Hotel on our recent, impromptu trip to Atlanta. In Midtown, the Shate is convenient to many of the major roads (85/75/GA400/Buford Hwy), but still feels like a walkable/safe area if you want to explore close by. We were able to walk, for example, to several good restaurants, and the High Museum of Art is not far. But, if you are looking for a great place for dinner, look no further than the Shane's own Hartley. We ate there for dinner twice & for sit-down breakfast once. We were happy (short ribs - yum!) in all cases. There's also daily complimentary coffee in the lobby, and a coffee bar (which converts to their evening cocktail bar) that offers options of a "fancier" nature in the morning. Our (king) room was spacious, clean, & comfortable. We were on the 8th floor, not disturbed by any city goings-ons that might have been happening below. The staff (front desk, restaurant, coffee bar, cleaning) was very well trained, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They took the time to recognize us during our stay, making us feel welcome. Fitness center was well-appointed w/ elyptical machines, treadmills, free-weights, Peletons, etc. It was clean & had a good view of the surrounding area. I did my full workout there with ease. The only two drawbacks we noted were that at $50/day, we thought the valet parking fee was steep. In addition, the WiFi speed was sporadic. Overall, we had a great stay at ATL's Kimpton Shane."

"Clean room, friendly staff, and the breakfast bar was amazing and a large variety. I would most definitely highly recommend! "

"The room I received had stains in the carpet as well as the sofa and rips all over the desk chair. Scratches all over the desk, side tables. Assistant manager came to room took pictures to send to his manager. I was given a suite (which did not offer the double beds but a sofa bed and king bed) this was for two night with my son as he was moving out of a dorm. The suite offered no hot water in the shower and frankly I was so grossed out from the wear and tear of the rooms. I tried to get a room at several other hotels but most were sold out for the evenings I needed. You might think getting a suit was better but it was not. It did not accommodate my travel needs. I will not be staying here again."

"All the hotels we usually stay at were sold out so we took a chance on the Sonesta. Not luxurious but clean and quiet with goods beds. Was pleasantly surprised"

"The parking wasn’t to my liking. And that traffic down there on Saturday night was ridiculous. Other than that my stay was great! Hotel is beautiful, rooms were very nice and comfortable."
