Oasis of Chill in Atlanta

Great value for the money and fantastic location. I enjoyed the live music by Ethel at the pool bar, the tequila tasting, enjoyed a chill Friday in an oasis in the city. Great getaway location.

This is a stunning, welcoming and unique hotel. The amenities are topnotch, the rooms are immaculate, the pool is lovely and the location is great. We were 5 minutes from the beautiful Botanical Gardens. The foodie theme is adorable and follows throughout...great seasonal menu at the restaurant.

Parking is a little pricey, but not uncommon with Atlanta, but would be nice for the price of your room If you got complementary parking. Our room was loud from surrounding city noise despite being on the 10th floor. Would have liked to have had blackout shades or curtains that could have been pulled to help with noise buffering and keep the light out to make it better for sleeping. Beds were comfortable and bedding was clean.

We loved our stay here. We saw reviews about people complaining on the curtains in the room being so thin bringing in all the light that it was inconvenient but we noticed they had black out blinds you could pull down to make it almost pitch black. We did walk around in the morning for food and such and there was zero cops around which is not the responsibility of the hotel but we were not left alone by the homeless. The hotel was very clean and the staff was so polite and helpful.

Beautiful upscale property. The only two things I had a problem with was the price for self parking says $36 overnight and when we checked out it was $44. We could have valet parked for $46. That makes NO SENSE at all. But we checked in, got dressed and went to celebrate my birthday Aug 10th at Garden Parc. They charged us a fee to get out then too. I don’t understand that. The other problem I had was that next morning, they woke me up with all of the banging noises. Like you could literally hear EVERYTHING.

Disappointing and mediocre

I personally wouldn’t stay here again. It’s completely over rated. The service was mediocre at best. And the food was expensive and just ok. The rooftop bar wasn’t open even though it was warm outside and the ambiance just wasn’t hitting. For $375+ a night you are better off staying away from this property. The bellman was even lazy, didn’t help us with our bags instead stayed posted up at his post and watched us. Stay away….. this hotel isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Modern well laid out & spacey rooms, clean. I was very disappointed that when I left my room around 11:15/11:30 they said they could not serve me food cause the kitchen is transitioning from breakfast to lunch. I asked that they send me room service and they said they could not do that either. I still had 45 minutes left on my late check out, so I don't understand why they refused. After repeatedly insisting that a highly rated hotel with a $600 a night price tag should be able to accomodate my request, a person agreed to serve me. I asked for a 3 egg, tomato, swiss cheese and ham omlette, instead I got smoked salmon, mushrooms and kayle. I don't understand how that was translated... I did not return it as I was short on time. While eating there several guests came to have either lunch or brunch and were unhappy for not being serverd. Overall the kitchen situation was unorganized.

I have stayed at this hotel three times now this year and it is my new Atlanta favorite. My primary reason is the staff; they make the hotel experience every stay. The culinary staff is my next favorite thing here. They pride themselves on the guest culinary experience and they do not disappoint. I enjoy eating at their restaurant, Reverence, every time but equally enjoy the offerings poolside for lunch. The food is always amazing. I highly, highly, highly recommend this property.
