「Great property and location. Excellent staff. a little on the older side」

「TOO MANY ISSUES WITH THIS HOTEL SALEM ON OUR STAY. We checked-in late around 9 PM. After being outside watching 2 college baseball games in the cold, we just wanted to go to the hotel and go to sleep. The first issue was my keycard was NOT opening the door so I used my wife's keycard which worked. The second issue was the left sink was not draining, luckily the right sink was working. 「Pet friendly. Great hot water for a nice long shower to wash the ocean off. No coffee pot in room but there was coffee avaliable for free in the morning in the check-in area. 」

「The room was clean and smelled fresh bedding and everything seemed good a little wear and tear visible on most of the furnishings - except the chair… the first thing you see is this beat up chair in the corner with a completely cracked vinyl seat cushion and tape on parts of the fabric and legs- it was very off putting right of the bat and made me almost leave. I saw another chair like that in a common area, also. Buy new chairs or just remove the old ones, it really looks bad! And immediately...
