Clean and big room. Perfect location. Good breakfast.

We stayed at the Apollo Palm for 3 nights before our cruise. overall it is a great small hotel with everything you need. breakfast was included and was amble and delicious. The rooms are a bit outdated and potentially need the carpet replaced both in there and in the hallways, but overall beds were comfy. They use some type of perfume cleaner or spray that was very strong. Suggest that they go to something with less order as it was very strong. View from the rooftop of the acropolis is great, especially at night. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It does look like it’s in a bit of a rough neighbourhood at first but if you go right out of hotel and then left and right at first street you are into the area of all the restaurants and on your way. It’s about 20 min walk to plaka and we didn’t need a cab at all

Our feeling, after spending over a week at this property, is that it is a 3.5 star hotel aspiring to be a 4 star hotel. The biggest draw for us was the view of the Acropolis, both from our room and our furnished balcony - the view for the Junior Suite was unobstructed and quite frankly magical. However, the room itself was small - there was a lot of square footage lost in a balcony that was far larger than we could make use of. The room was clean, but a little run down, especially in the bathroom, which was also small but well-appointed. The climate control system was very noisy and never seemed to turn off, which wasn't great for sleeping. The staff was very helpful, with excellent restaurant recommendations, which they happily made reservations at. There are all kinds of restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was the same every day, with limited options - my wife described it as 'Spartan' - but the offerings were tasty. More breakfast options and freshening up the room could get them all the way to four stars.

Good location, close to metro line

The hotel is in a great area if you want to avoid a lot of time getting to the museums and archeological places ! It’s very nice, clean, and breakfast was fantastic. The staff was also incredibly helpful and kind. Definitely recommend staying here
