The hotel is a little run down and would benefit greatly from redecoration. Our family room was tiny. On balance the location is fantastic, the hotel is clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. If you use a hotel as a place to sleep as your out doing stuff all day then this hotel is great. If you want more from a hotel than a bed and a bathroom this may not be the place for you.

Room didn’t match the pictures online, bathroom had mould on the roof and was generally average. Mattress dipped in the middle. The reception didn’t let us keep our key which we googled and saw is normal in Europe but after 22 European countries I have never experienced it. Area around the hotel is a bit dodgy but that’s not their fault

About 20 years ago this hotel was a Marriott and it was simply OK As the grand Hyatt, it is an exceptional hotel. The rooms are beautiful. The heating and air conditioning were perfectly.
