「My wife and I loved the place. The kids preferred to be on their devices. The inlaws just set on the riverbank. Tubing was a lot of fun. The only way you could canoe is to go down the river and bring it back in a truck. The fishing was nice. The old farm house is fully remodeled. Even though they have animals, it doesn't have an overwhelming dog smell. The train didn't bother us too much. The forest on the way to teb river is charming.」

「This was the perfect home for a family gathering. Yes, the views are stunning! The house is very close to quaint Bedford and the D-Day Memorial. It is clean and well cared for. The extra amenities were appreciated and helpful. The gas fire pit was a nightly center point and the gas grill was immaculate and in excellent working condition. The hosts were gracious and very helpful. I enjoyed meeting this amazing couple and they were available to answer any questions. Absolute GEM!」

「This secluded farmhouse nestled in the valley below Shenandoah National Park was the perfect spot for a last minute getaway.Our dogs loved the expansive yard and we loved sitting on the back porch to take in the sights and sounds of the National Park.The house is 15 minutes from Luray in one direction and the Thornton Gap Entrance to the National Park in the other.The house itself is as stunning as it looks in the pictures and the hosts were very communicative. We hope to make it back soon!」

「We had a great stay at the farmhouse at Peaks of Otter Winery in Bedford, VA! My husband & I needed rest and relaxation and the stay at Elmo's Rest farmhouse did not disappoint!! It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with...

「The Farmhouse was beautifully restored with large rooms, a wonderful porch, a kitchen equipped for every need, and a table large enough to sit our 8 family members with room left over. My grandchildren loved the big lawn with the provided yard equipment and sprinkler. We all enjoyed the animals and fire pit. Our host was gracious and readily available, and we would love to return some day.」
