'A Walk in the Woods' Luxury 3 bedroom Cabin

If you are looking for a secluded cabin that is still close to the Parkway (6 miles) and Smoky Mountain National Park (12 miles to our secret entrance) then this is the cabin for you! This cabin is beautifully decorated and anyone will feel at home here.

Main Floor - Master Bedroom (King Size Bed), Master Bath (Jetted Tub), Kitchen and Living room

PLEASE READ NOTE AT BOTTOM CONCERNING LOWER FLOOR CHANGES IN NOVEMBER 2021

Lower Floor - 2 queen bedrooms, bathroom, and Game Room with twin bed (Pool Table) Hot Tub on deck (Amazing Views).

Please note the cabin (like almost all in the mountains) uses well water. The water is treated and filtered and safe to drink. However the hot tub will never be “crystal” clear. The sanitizers used to keep a hot tubs safe (chlorine/bromine) when mixed with well water with high mineral content makes the water a little hazy. This is totally normal and totally safe clean water.

Covered Detached Carport (Great for the Annual Car Shows!) and ample other parking.

All Rooms have Flat Panel TV's with DirectTV and Wifi available throughout. Living Room has a Wii Game Console (Bring your own games) and a Blue Ray Player, Bunk room TV has DVD player for the Kiddies to enjoy).

Hiking Guides and maps (bypass that parkway traffic) provided for renters to use.

Please enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains during your stay!

Nice get away

Very nice and cozy.. We did have an issue with the door code working, however the owner was just a call away… There were three can openers and none of them worked, so if you going to cook, take your own.. We enjoyed our time!!

Nice stay outside town

The house was as advertised and was very cosy. My only suggestions are to retip the pool cues since they had no felt. Also have your cleaners give a deep cleaning to the downstairs bathroom.

Shopping trip

We stayed here for a girls shopping trip. Off the beaten path but minutes to local stores and eateries. Not all the tourist stuff of the strip but close to it all. Home is nice. Good size if you have several people staying. The downstairs 3 bedrooms, is a bit loud with the utility room. As long as you are good sleepers, it won’t be an issue.

Cozy cabin in a great location

We enjoyed our stay, but were a bit put off by the poor job done by the cleaning crew: dust on the blinds, walls, furniture. This was a concern because my 88 year old mother has severe asthma. We've not had this problem with other cabin rentals.

Family vacation

Cabin is small & cozy! The only issue we had was very small showers, it could have been cleaned much better (dust everywhere, mold in showers, dog smell strong), no blanket in the master so bring your own, very squeaky & very firm beds, hot tub very gritty, bath sinks have no water pressure, can openers not good, pans could be better, some bulbs out or flickering, outside trash can is small, & gas grill barely works. For $4k+ it could have been better! The owners were responsive when we had questions & we made do with what we had.

Check in was super easy. Kitchen was missing some things you would regularly need. WiFi was ok for being in the woods. Cabin could have been a little cleaner. There was cob webs everywhere you turned. No easy way to access the bridge to the carport. It has the worst smelling well water I have ever been around. And I’ve had well water my whole life. None of the tvs worked in the bedrooms for us, but we didn’t really need them so it wasn’t a bother. Over all we enjoyed our time at the cabin and would come back if we brought our dogs next time.

A Nice getaway

My children are grown. We wanted space for 9 plus our dogs. This was a perfect space. If I had questions the owner got right back to us. We were only 10 to 20 minutes from some kind of activity. Loved sitting out on porch at night talking. We would definitely stay there again

Great cabin! I would recommend it. I gave it 4 stars because there is no direct path from the cabin to the carport/fire pit. You have to walk along the road. The hot tub wouldn’t drop temp even though it was set for 100 it maintained 108. A bit too warm. The WiFi doesn’t work most of the time. When it does work it’s very slow. Three big bedrooms with lots of space to spread out. Beautiful view of the trees. No Mountain View. Very private and quiet.

We had a wonderful stay and loved the area. The house was roomy and ready for us when we arrived a little early. The hot tub, board games and pool table were enjoyed during our down time. While the house was clean we did find a few areas that could have been cleaner. A half eaten moldy sandwhich with bugs was found under a bed That is the reason for the rating. Highly recommend! We would stay here again. We also got lucky and saw a bear walk through the back yard!

Baseball tournament

We stayed here for a baseball tournament at the Cal Ripken experience and the location was great. Perfect driving distance to the ball fields and all the attractions on the parkway. The cabin was setup perfect for a family of 4 but could easily accommodate a larger family.

Walk in the woods

The property was beautiful. It was remote (which is what we wanted) but still minutes away from all the excitement. Check in process was just a matter of a few buttons. We didn’t need anything for our trip but prior to check in our host was very responsive. All in all it was a great trip and would recommend this host/property to anyone.
