「Property is very close to downtown. Walking 1 to 2 km in this town is normal distance. We moved around with rental car. House/condo is very clean and rooms are nice. Kitchen has mostly everything you need. Our family loved it. Alao they recommended very nice Mexican restaurant and a local shop for empanada which were the best. 」

「Accommodating 」

「This is such a special spot. A hidden gem. The cafe is so fun and some of the best food we had during our stay. We ate there 3 times! Kelly is an awesome host and very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended. 」

「Everything I hoped for and more! The views from this property and the drive up and down the mountain were some of my favorites. I absolutely recommend staying here! 」

「Cute place on a quiet street that was an easy walk to downtown restaurants and a short drive to hot springs, waterfall, volcano national park and the biggest lake in the country. So many fun adventures in this area!」

「As I say in the title this is a nice place and I will add it is a great value. The host asked us before we left if there was anything we would suggest to make our stay even better. We told Cristian there were a few minor things that would make this place even more appealing. First and foremost a microwave oven would be a huge upgrade. 「Cabañas del Rio was a wonderful place to stay in La Fortuna. We stayed in the family unit with three queen beds and a kitchen. It worked out great for our family of 6. Wonderful garden trail to watch for birds and frogs in the morning. Felt at home here! Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. Thank you for a great stay! 」

「If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options).
