「The hotel is located in a very old building, and unfortunately the rooms feel quite humid. The breakfast is very basic with limited options. Another downside is the poor soundproofing — you can hear everything happening in the hallways and nearby rooms. 」

「Great, great location no one can beat…next to the park, so close to the Market, restaurants, the ropeway to the Monte and right in the center. 」

「Hotellet är mysigt och frukosten är helt okej, det finns mycket att välja på, men det är lite trångt i matsalen, särskilt på den sida där man hämtar maten. Hotellet ligger nära centrum (mindre än 30 minuter till fots, och det är en härlig promenad). En del av personalen skulle dock kunna vara lite trevligare, främst i receptionen, men detta gäller inte alla.」

Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het geheel is antiek, eclectisch ingericht met veel bijzondere items. Het ontbijt is verrukkelijk: vers bereid. De tuin heeft tal van leuke zitjes en een mooi zwembad wat helaas voor begin april nog te koud was om in te zwemmen. Kortom zeker aan te raden.」

「Beautiful hotel and grounds! Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food! A wonderful all inclusive experience. We had a beautiful room with an extra large balcony with partial view. Room was always cleaned daily and towels changed. We enjoyed the location, the ample parking and the grounds. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and we all enjoyed the buffet, kulinarium restaurant and the evening shows. We are already planning our next trip there! Thank you for a beautiful holiday week Riu Madeira! 」

「Das Rauchen auf den eigenem Zimmerbalkonen war nicht erlaubt ohne, dass dies zuvor bekannt war. Das Personal war im Allgemeinen nicht hilfsbereit und man fühlte sich bei Anliegen als Belastung. Die Zimmer sind gut, aber in die Jahre gekommen. Die Balkontür schleift (übrigens bei allen Zimmern). Der Kleiderschrank ist eine Zumutung, wenn man mehr als eine Person ist (Schiebetürendilemma). Die Türen schlagen und hört man über den ganzen Flur. Die Stimmung und Atmosphäre gleicht einem Hauptbahnhof...
