Very well equipped kitchen. Beautiful views. This is an older home so had some quirks, but everything worked, we all had space and enjoyed ourselves.

Excellent location; awesome views of the ocean. Very nice, updated and well stocked kitchen. A little more dated and worn (broken lampshade in living room) than we were expecting; spots here and there that weren’t properly cleaned or dusted. But overall it suited our needs just fine and we would go back.

This is a quintessential beach house—great beach and access and well located to all of Seaside. The praise ends with those comments. The house is of very average quality; the listing pictures are not a fair representation of the house. The main living area is nice but the furnishings are very dated. The kitchen which is said to be fully equipped has a limited supply of garage sale items. The bed rooms are substandard. Poor lighting and beds. The down stairs “bunk room” is a step below a frat house sleeping porch. Bathrooms are tight and very definitely one person at a time. The house was only superficially clean and several outside lights were burned out or inoperable. The key box was hard to operate and only one key for large groups. Very problematic. Why not a keyless entry system. I could say more but think the message that the premium pricing for this property is not justified.

Great property. Didn’t realize from the listing that the owner or another tenant is upstairs, but didn’t even notice, other than I wish I had the upstairs balcony view of the ocean :).Super clean and convenient access to the beach. Would definitely consider this property again.

The view was tremendous, the location quiet but not to remote and the house awesome. I would recommend better hand rails going downstairs along with perhaps some traction and glow in the dark tape on the stairs. I'm pretty sure footed and almost fell.

Nice little house

Nice little house right by the beach and conviently located near down town. It however had the worst cooktop i have ever used wich ended up forcing us to eat out every meal for the stay.

Great property

This place is great. Great views, well appointed kitchen with new appliances, lots of comfy seating. We really enjoyed our stay. The basement is cold, but I like cold for sleeping. Might bring slippers if we stay again.

Underwhelming

Our party consisted of grandma, our 2 year old, myself and my pregnant wife (8 months). Well maintained property and clean. HOWEVER, the downstairs "bedroom" or activity area, or whatever they advertise this as is just a basement with beds and a bathroom added. This area is FREEZING cold and never heats up. The floors are like ice (linoleum squares). Grandma and our 2 year old had to stay upstairs together in a room where it was warm and my wife and I had to sleep in this bedroom (remember, she is 8 months pregnant. The vent that heats this "bedroom" is fully exposed and is one of the loudest things I have ever experienced in a rentable home. This should not be used as a bedroom. This is not what we paid for. There should be some sort of notice for these things and I wish people would really review places properly. It sends the wrong message and makes people think these things are ok. There was construction next door, again, no notice of this. Its just common courtesy. You can really tell this is managed by a management company now. Nothing is personal and getting help is impossible. Check out is 10am which is very early, 11am seems standard. (WARNING TO FUTURE PEOPLE) I don't know, just book somewhere else for the same price. We have stayed in Seaside many many times at various places over the last 7/8 years. Other options are available. Consider them!

Great place to relax with dogs

We just needed a restful getaway so this house was perfect with comfy leather couches and amazing views. Plenty of trails in the seagrass for private walks with the dogs and beach was not far. Kitchen was very well stocked, maybe a bit small for cooking but we mostly ate out. The parking is tight, we had a 3500 diesel truck that took up the whole area and fortunately the construction workers next door were courteous and did not block us. It was noisy and crowded the whole stay because of them but they were friendly. The outdoor fire pit was missing and we had hauled wood all the way from MT for that. The Foosball table is in bad shape but we had fun playing anyway. Overall we really enjoyed the house and highly recommend!

Overall Impression

The view was impressive. That was the best feature. It was close to the beach and 12th street bridge for crabbing. We had to do quite a bit of cleaning of the property. Management can ask us for details. The beds and pillows really need to be replaced. There was construction going on next door which we were only alerted to the day before our stay. Overall, we would not stay here again.

Serenity

Our recent stay was our 3rd or 4th stay at this property. This trip was just the two of us, other trips were with our adult children- our largest group was 7. We also travel with our 2 small dogs. The home has everything we’ve ever needed for a great getaway. Our longest stay was 6 nights. Great location. Comfortable home. We absolutely appreciate the owners taking such great care of the home and willingness to share it. 5 star!!!

Overall pretty nice

The house was very nice. The basement is not super inviting but the upstairs is super awesome and cozy. Everything was pretty clean except the floors had some dust and dog hair when we arrived. Overall would recommend!

Issues we encountered

1) Location was great but we were not told about construction right next door. It was noisy during the day.2) wifi information emailed to us was wrong 3) the windows in living room facing ocean were so dirty, we watched the view with a dirt filter 4) sink in the upstairs bathroom kept clogging,water pooling. 5) we had to take the bed linen off the beds? Do you not have cleaning crew to do this?

Could have been better

Great location. Though property was not very clean. We had to call for the cleaning crew to come out and clean. While it was gettng clean we had to leave the property and wait. Not ideal.
