"Very nice except for the bed. They really need to replace the mattress that was in my room. You sink so far into it that it becomes hard to get up out of the bed."

"Parking was great, staff seemed friendly...now for the room experience. When we first walked in, it smelt pretty bad...like wet gym socks. We cranked the AC and sprayed some of our own fragrance and it seemed to help. As I sat on the bed, there was this small pesky bug that wouldn't go away. Didn't think much of it. When we woke up the next morning, we headed downstairs for breakfast. Pretty typical free hotel breakfast set up. Nothing spectacular. Head back to the room, place my coffee on the counter and only to return a little while later to a cup full of bugs. Went downstairs and made mention to the staff, and she said she would send housekeeping to the room. Not sure where the bugs came from or what the small was but definitely not what we expected."

"The walk out access to the beach was the primary reason for our stay, and it was spectacular. Our group of seven included four grandchildren ages 7-13, and their first experience at the ocean was incredible, including the boogie boards and surf boards provided. We were delighted to learn that Huntington Beach is a big time surfer area, and it was cool to experience the surfer vibe—-a trip down the road to the pier area is a must, including lunch or dinner to enjoy the people. It was very quiet and perfect for our family, but the one thing to be aware of is that condo shares the deck and building with a neighbor on the second floor, and no noise or loud music was strongly emphasized; no big deal for most people looking for a beach vacation, but wouldn’t be recommended for a “party crowd.” The only other item to be aware of is that the unit has a small garage that didn’t fit our large SUV, and iwe were dependent on public parking (very typical of Southern California); we never had a problem finding a spot right behind the condo, but there is the potential for parking further away…the host was very communicative and available, and all in all we highly recommend this rental."

"Location is great, few steps from the ocean in a quiet neighborhood. Hotel is clean and well maintained. The room had an ocean view that was amazing. Free parking and breakfast was great as well. Would definitely come here again."

"It’s quiet, clean, and pretty. I loved how it’s right across the street from the beach, basically. A soda machine is out of order, but everything else was fine. I’m grateful for their price and location. And yes; the ac worked."

"I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was not properly cleaned, the staff was unhelpful, and the overall experience was not good. The check-in process was slow and not informative, the street were noisy late at night, and basic amenities were either missing or not working properly. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to others."
