「I am so grateful for this host. She was compassionate, I booked because I have an 80 year old looking for a walk in shower. It had two steps we struggled with in the front but the place was clean and had great attention to detail. The mattress was incredibly comfortable for my mom and was the perfect height. Parking was a bit challenging but reasonable for someone that can walk at a normal pace. Would stay here again for sure. 」

「The location near the Convention Center, downtown Long Beach, and the superb view of the water made this Apartment a wonderful alternative to a sterile hotel.」

「I really enjoyed staying at this apartment while in Long Beach - the space was very clean, the kitchen had ample cookware and the bed was comfortable. The location is great, right next to the bus stop and close to a large grocery store. The host was very accommodating with the check-in time and responded quickly. 「Great little property, walking distance to the beach and has a coffee shop a few feet down the block. The house can be a little loud with the windows open but fairly quiet with windows and sliding glass door closed. The property advertised a hot tub on the description but rest assured there is no hot tub. Check in and check out was very easy and communication with the owner was very clear. Overall my wife and I had a great stay! Would do it again! 」

The one draw back is your bedroom is also the main living area, so you could not entertain. 「Everything was fine. Good location, easy in and out. Very clean. Well-equipped kitchen. Just a couple of exceptions: The handle to turn the shower valve in the bathroom off the bedroom is broken off, so it is very difficult to adjust between hot and cold. And the remote for the tv in the living room seemingly would not adjust the tv volume. Would come again.」

We appreciated the coin-operated, on site laundry. If you are driving, access to the single, designated parking spot is through a narrow alley and a bit awkward but manageable. 「The house was in quiet part of town. There was a grocery store and restaurant on the same block (although not a ton of choice otherwise). It was good to have parking on site. The beach was undergoing restoration so it was a little hard to get to, but it was close. 」
