"The house was very nice and roomy for us. Except for no dish towels or hand towels the house was well supplied. Oven took a long time to heat up but did work. All in all we enjoyed especially the hot tub!"

Drew has designed it to bring in as much light as possible during the day. He has taken advantage of the peekaboo ocean view in his window placement in the remodeled kitchen/bar area. "The best thing about this property is the fact that it’s 2 blocks from the beach. However the house is very old and dated and in need of some upgrades. The bed upstairs was very squeaky and bouncy and the downstairs bed was rock hard. No Kleenex which is crazy. Weird wiring such that you can’t make coffee and run the dishwasher? Not great to have an unsafe situation with the electrical. Again location is amazing but nothing else special about this place. We didn’t cook at all and was just fine...

"Loved this cottage! It was exactly as described, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes at Newport Pier, about 4 blocks from the house. They do have a small garage but we parked on the street. My husband and I stayed with our 2 teenage kids."

"We stayed 3 nights - easy walk to beach, safe neighborhood, easy parking with on-site garage and pre-approved parking for my brother’s car on street. Kye and Elena were exceptionally gracious and informative. Kitchen worked fine for us. Outdoor small patio a big plus and weather was such we ate breakfasts and dinners at the round patio table."
