Overall nice

The house is clean and tastefully updated. The fenced backyard was nice for our dogs. The neighborhood isn’t the safest. Bars on the windows and graffiti all over the building across the street. It’s a short walk to Forsyth Park but wouldn’t stay in this particular location again. The rental company was easy to communicate with. Having check out procedures posted in the home would be helpful vs having to find them in their online portal.

Weekend with my Daughters

Very nice place. Quiet neighborhood. Very clean. Comfortable beds. And we didn’t see any ghosts, so maybe it’s not haunted. Would stay again.

Warning! Very unsafe area!! Do not rent place.

We would give the area/environment a zero rating!! There was no available parking available at the rental only street parking. Upon arrival at 2:30am, we noticed several undesirable people and activity in the area around the rental. (Half dressed/bare footed homeless guy, 8 male individuals at a near by gas station hanging around outside the station drinking booze and smoking whatever, a prostitute at the corner, the list goes…) We decided to not even get out of our vehicle at that point and left. Way too unsafe to get out of our vehicle and try to unpack the car. If you decide to rent this place, I would suggest bringing some protection with you. The VRBO management just thought we were complaining that it wasn’t good enough for us. They didn’t care we feared for our safety! We contacted the VRBO and they wouldn’t refund the money because they said sorry it wasn’t “good” enough for you. The person we talked with said that three times to us.

Great space and great location

We loved staying here! The street parking was just fine and we were able to park two vehicles out front during our long stay. The beds were very comfortable. The two bedrooms on the right side didn’t have all of the space to fully open or close the door, but we made it work anyways. The house was very well stocked and the little backyard was perfect to let our dogs go out early mornings/late at night. It’s a perfect location for walking to downtown Savannah and Forsyth Park. We walked on average 5 miles a day out of choice and it was perfect. It was safe for us to go out walking in the evening and at night. there are restaurants right around the corner and it was right at the entrance of the downtown area so it was easy to get out and back into the city to get back to the house. Definitely recommend staying here.

BOOK IT!

Adorable house, beautifully decorated, and immaculately, clean! Within walking distance to most things and a quick Uber to to the river area. We walked it and it wasn't bad at all and lots of cool things to see along the way. You won't be disappointed. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!
