「The place is overhyped. Didn’t meet my expectations. Rooms are hot during August (they have no AC and windows are small). I booked a private room and bathroom and the space just felt so crammed. There was little to no spaces to open our luggages in our room. We found hair that was not ours in the sheets before even laying on them. The stairs leading up to the rooms were expected, but they were more annoying than I had imagined. Food at the restaurant is no good. Considering it’s the only option...

「Cute room with fantastic daily cleaning by lovely lady. Great view, just as advertised. Quick access to lakefront restaurants or tuktuk ride up to Santa Cruz. Like everything around Lake Atitlan, the climb is up or down…not a problem for us, but could be with heavy suitcases.」
