「Cute room with fantastic daily cleaning by lovely lady. Great view, just as advertised. Quick access to lakefront restaurants or tuktuk ride up to Santa Cruz. Like everything around Lake Atitlan, the climb is up or down…not a problem for us, but could be with heavy suitcases.」

「The house is dirty, smells humid, dust everywhere, no hot water after 1 minute of shower, no a/c, everything is old and outdated, sheets and towels were stained, it’s in the middle of nowhere in the jungle. We found a scorpion in the bedroom. The only good thing is who manages de property, that service is amazing and will help you get everything organized and scheduled, but the actual property is not at all how it seems in the photos. The title of the listing said "San Pedro, La Laguna." After we were already in Guatemala, and were trying to figure out where we were headed next, we noticed that the address said Santa Cruz. However, after some trouble, we realized that the house was in Tzunana. Right off the bat, this felt mis-leading.
