In town for a specific sporting activity. Town supported athletes, gave discounts to participants at many restaurants and were generally friendly. Water Front and Downtown were enjoyable, with many, varied restaurants and bars.

We enjoyed Cedar Point and also a couple of the many restaurants around. Thirsty Pony was a great dinner spot and Dianna's Deli & Restaurant for a great breakfast. I recommend the heart attack omelet.

We went to the Merry Go Round museum on our way home. We all loved that. Worth the time to stop.

More people need to come to Sandusky for Sandusky and tell that park on the peninsula to shove it. The town is really great, Battery Park Marina is so peaceful and relaxing, and it all gets overshadowed by the overpriced lousy amusement park.

Great downtown. Lake is beautiful. Go to Small City Taproom and Wakeup and Waffle. Sandusky Pancake House is also tasty. Jolly Donuts was good.

The downtown and waterfront were unexpectedly nice. The more we saw of Sandusky, the more we liked it.
"Our room was extremely clean including the bathroom. It was spacious for the 3 of us. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub and everyone that stayed there obeyed the curfew. It also quieted down a bit at night. My only complaint is that there weren’t many breakfast options other than carbs. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!"
"My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay. Our experience with staff was fantastic and hoped to visit the area again because of the positive experiences we had here. "
