"Easy, friendly check-in. Beautiful Spanish Hacienda styled property with uniquely appointed rooms. Room was clean and included complimentary water and snacks, and had a kettle and mini fridge. There were even comfy robes and beach towels. The ocean views from the second floor balcony room were lovely, a perfect place for morning coffee. Staff were friendly and accessible. And the record player and assorted albums in the room was a fantastic surprise! The property is right next to the busy Pacific Coast Highway, and has trains passing fairly frequently, but was very quiet after dark. There were complimentary earplugs in the room for those sensitive to noise (which is an amazing touch), however we weren't bothered at all, and the trains and traffic seemed to disappear after around 11pm. We chose this as an overnight stop on the way to San Diego from LA, and so glad we did. This is a fantastic gem of a property in a great location right near the ocean and near the lovely town of Dana Point. Would absolutely stay here again the next time we find ourselves in Southern California!"

"Great location and clean rooms. The price was reasonable. The front desk will make you aware that they will be tearing down the building to rebuild, so it's understandable that rooms are not renovated. The location was ideal. Laguna Beach was about 15 minutes away. Walkable to trails and places to eat on the harbor. My front desk also is a ware that housekeeping would not come. We stayed four nights and was disappointing that after four nights we wouldn't need some type of clean towels. I did however find the laundry room and gave them my wet towels after the third day to receive clean ones at the front desk. Overall a peaceful and quiet stay."
