Friendly staff. Quaint, clean, peaceful hotel. Close to Union Square and Chinatown. Close to the cable car stops and Big Bus that take you everywhere. Close to shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms and pretty big and so is the bathroom (tub and shower combined).

The ambiance of the hotel is spectacular. Room size are spacious and corridors are impeccable. Staff greets each time and excellence reflects in their extra miles in customer service. Buffered walls make resting easy. The cafe is a beautiful perk.

Nice stay and near cable car and China Town. Room very quiet and comfortable beds. Theres a TV casting app to use streaming services from your own devices that was difficult to set up. We succeeded in setting it up after many tries.

We had the BEST stay! Easy check in and friendly staff. Location is central to everything and the cable car stops right outside the hotels door. Rooms are quiet and clean. We hope to stay here again soon!

Overall, the Orchard Hotel was definitely worth the value. For the price I paid, I was very pleased with the size, cleanliness, and comfort of the room. The room was spacious, and clean, and the bed and pillows were especially comfortable. The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and very responsive to all of our needs and requests. My only reservation is that the hotel’s decor and overall design feel somewhat outdated. The rooms and common areas have a more traditional, older style that could benefit from some updating and modernization.

This is a conveniently located hotel with a trolley stop right at the end of the block. Union square and Chinatown are both within walking distance, as are many restaurants. Our room was clean, quiet, and lovely! The bed was plush and very comfortable and the hotel staff could not have been more gracious and helpful! I will add that the hotel is at the top of a pretty steep hill. Hiking down the hill was great. Walking back up, not so much!

Clean room, very nice and helpful staff. We arrived early and were able to keep our luggage at the hotel while sightseeing. Around 2 o'clock we received a text stating our room was ready. The hotel is in a great location. We used public transportation and our feet to get around. Would definitely stay there again.
