The person that assisted me his name is Peter and he is the epitome of customer service provided with quality and care I appreciated his help with assisting me to get checked in, It’s amazing how a kind gesture and friendly disposition is a ray of light to a very dark dim world and space we all share on top of dealing with whatever one is dealing with Peter was very instrumental with ensuring I was welcomed and treated me like a HUMAN being Thank you 😊

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The building itself is old and all furniture, toilets, showers, etc. are old and not always clean. But the price very affordable, you pay for a hostel so expectation should be at minimum level.

This hostel is run extremely well. The kitchen is large and well equipped, I never once had to wait for a bathroom to open up for a shower, and all my belongings felt very secure. The bed was comfortable enough, and the blanket was plenty warm.. the location was close to the Powell Bart, and downtown areas. The only downside to the entire stay, was that the street can be pretty loud. If you are used to City Life I'm sure it won't bother you. But I'm not. The breakfast was good too. Kind of like the standard Continental breakfast you would get at a hotel. Waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, etc. I would definitely stay again.

Rooms have 2 nice lockers for each bed, one under bed, one on the side. Though it doesn't have curtains for privacy or light protection. It provides very good free breakfast which is surprising with the price. Morning give a vibrant community environment during the breakfast. The location is very convenient in the downtown. Our private bathroom didn't have handsoap even which is annoying. Shared toilet doesn't doesn't have sink to wash hand, just a weird o e connected to toilet which did not work for most of the times. They provide small hand towel only. You need to pay for bigger bath towel.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A comfortable stay with wonderful staff I had a great stay at Orange Village Hostel. The breakfast was always amazing, with bread, cereal, milk, coffee, juice, peanut butter, jams, and freshly made waffles. The high-speed internet worked well, and each floor had a simple business area with a few desks. It was quiet during the day, which made it easy to get work done. I didn’t have a car, but parking was available. The staff were exceedingly kind and helpful, and they gave me great recommendations for places to visit and things to do. The price I paid felt like a great value. Five stars all around! And why do you stay at a hostel? You stay at a youth hostel to meet people and I met some amazing people. I made some friends who will probably be my friend for the rest of my life. There’s a really cool barbershop just a few doors down and a convenience store with everything you could imagine food wise close by plus the metro is pretty close.

Good location. Overall clean and friendly staff. You can cook your own food in the kitchen and they have simple breakfast food available if you like. I was only there one night and I wasn't able to get the hotel WiFi to work at all. I'm not sure how common this is.
