The area near the hotel was very walkable and safe. Excellent cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Our only caveat was that the WiFi/internet was very inconsistent. It would drop your connection every few minutes and often the signal could not open most websites or the smart TV in the room. Annoying. The staff said it was not our room but the whole building, including the front desk computer. "
