Hotel Tango de Mayo was the perfect base for exploring Microcentro! The room was spotless and very comfy, but the standout was definitely the staff—fantastic, super attentive, and welcoming throughout our entire stay. 5/5!

A really lovely building, great location! Staff were very friendly, all bilingual (Spanish and English). Restaurants were not open, sadly, due to season. Breakfast buffet was decent, though minimal options for special diets (likely due to being off-season). Room was large and well-kept, with 10-foot ceilings and really comfortable bedding, The tango theme went throughout the hotel. Could have used some USB ports. I would recommend and would stay here again!

The ambiance with nice decor, tango music, classic accents throughout tells you that the hotel wants to give the visitor the full experience. The staff is extremely courteous and made me feel like a VIP. They offered to make a reservation to a show on our behalf. More impressively is the fact that they placed a small bottle of champagne on ice with two glasses for my birthday. We also received a room upgrade as Platinum Expedia members. The only areas of improvement are: better quality coffee and the fact that they were always out of scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Great hotel, just bring ear plugs if you’re on the lower floors, lots of street noise. Excellent staff, they were very helpful and the hotel is secure and trustworthy. Hotel is a little dated but besides that very clean and excellent service and comfort.
