"We had a wonderful time staying at Casa Tunki! We stayed in a private room and utilized the unisex shared bathroom. Our beds and linens were comfortable and there was enough space in our room to lay out our suitcases as we needed to repack. There was also housekeeping services who made the private room when we went out to explore (I didn’t know there was housekeeping service so this was a nice surprise). "Great place to stay. They switched our rooms a few times which was a pain but fine regardless. The showers don’t have much water pressure and often are cold but that’s expected! The bar is fun and the atmosphere is lovely. Food is good, walking distance to everything."

"We greatly appreciated the assistance Mary provided in helping us get settled and find a good restaurant. This is an older property but the bathrooms have had a simple update. There are lots of small staircases to climb. The double bed was against the wall on one side making it difficult for one person to get in out of bed. The biggest concern was there was no hot water in the shower. Because we had an early train to catch, there was not time for us to notify the hostel or change rooms."

"Excellent location but you get what you pay for. The staff seems like they’d prefer you weren’t there, and the hostel was very very quiet the Saturday night I stayed there. Ok if you just need a base to go for expeditions from, but I’d recommend paying a bit more and staying elsewhere."

"Joel and Cidelia were amazing hosts who treated us like family. Joel built his home and the sky domes from scratch. We had the wonderful opportunity to cook with Cidelia and have dinner with their family. The domes were awesome. It does get a little cold, but they were more than accommodating with blankets. Be prepared to glamp. The location and views were amazing. We enjoyed beer and a beautiful view overlooking the valley on the mini bar near our sky dome. "
