This was an airline connection stay so we weren't interested in sightseeing or checking out the area. Seemed OK from what we could tell.

Very close to the airport. About 25-30mins to paris. Best option might be uber charging you about 30-35 euros compare to taxis who charge per minute and may take advantage of speed and traffic. Great location.

There was a nice mall near by within a 3 stop tram ride. There was a mixture of nice shops, different restaurants and a movie theater. Also, we could see nice houses from our hotel room. Overall, Rungis seemed family oriented and clean.
