「Staff attitude was bad. They charged me £100(for incidentals but charged an additional £67.99 for dinner instead of taking from the 100 ! And haven't returned it either. Interesting property that was cold and dark - no hearing in room. Looking grubby.. No grab bar in tiled shower. 」

「The room was nice and clean, the bathroom was ok not a lot of room in it. The staff were polite and welcoming. The bar was nice and had plenty of drinks to choose from. The restaurant was ok, the breakfast was good plenty too choose like cereals, pastries and full English breakfast 」

「This is a lovely old building. The rooms are very comfortable and the bed is superb for a good nights sleep. Set just outside town, a short taxi ride in and out, it was very quiet and ample safe parking. The Dinner was very good (Belly pork) and you must try the garlic and cheese bread, it is huge like a pizza and far more than we expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they made our stay a memorable one. Thank you very much. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.」

The room we stayed in could do with a bit of an upgrade in the bathroom and a freshen up but it was still a nice enough stay. Food was beautiful, dining room was very clean and nicely presented.
