"This is a gorgeous and rare find that I’ve enjoyed several times in the last 10 years. Staying at Carol & Ed’s place, I’ve always experienced a sense of calm and retreat. From the hot tub and hammock to the access of the boats on the water, it’s an easy place to relax and find solace. I just love the sense of very little development on Cedar Cliff Lake where you’re met with such beautiful nature and can find some true quiet. The cabin is a quick drive to WCU’s campus.For when you’re ready to venture out, especially for anyone staying in the area for the first time, a must visit is downtown Sylva. Checking out Innovation Brewing and ordering from their partnering food truck, Cosmic Carryout is an INCREDIBLE choice."

"We’ve visited Bear Lake for the past 5 years and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed! Beautiful home, beautiful views, we had everything we needed! It’s amazing that the kids can walk to the lake house, pool and marina from the house. Being on the lake took our vacation to the next level and this will be the place we stay every time we visit from now on! Beds comfy Kitchen appointed Location/layout perfection "

"Overall it was a wonderful stay. The road up to the home take about 11 minutes from the main road and we did use our all wheel drive. We loved the SPECTACULAR views. The home was well stocked with everything you need except a baking pan and cookie sheets (which was needed for family meals) There was also no instruction for where to put trash in the information book at the home and some was left from previous guests. Other glitches were taken care of as quickly as possible as possible. But most important was the view and we would stay again simply because of this."

Bear Lake's Best Condo! CLOSE TO CLUBHOUSE!

"This condo was extremely spacious and so quiet! The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of sheets and towels. One warning especially since it’s so far to a store, you need to bring EVERYTHING… from food and drink items (so you don’t need to go to the Lake Club every meal), to hand soap, body soap, shampoo, etc. This is not a complaint as I know many owners don’t supply these items. Another item worth noting - although the listing states “close to Lake Club”, and one of the maps shows a 1 min walk, it is NOT close for walking. And it’s quite dangerous on the curvy road. You can avoid part of the road via a trail but it’s not an easy trail, especially after some rain. We ended up driving to the Lake Club most of the time, which was a bit disappointing. We were hoping to come and go as with 2 teenage sons, we wanted to be able to do different things.We enjoyed golf and pickleball and the views were amazing from the golf course. Communication with the owner was great!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Lake Reserve. The property is very special- very wooded, full of nature, and the condo and rest of the Lake Club areas are all beautiful. The location of the condo was very good- it's very close to the Lake Club where the beach and pool are. Just a short drive down to it with plenty of parking. The condo was extremely clean and organized. The bed was comfortable, and there was everything we needed stocked. The view is through the trees and you see the lake below, very relaxing!The clubhouse area is gorgeous with stunning views from the pool and the beach was much larger than I expected. We were able to bring our paddleboards and put them right on the beach and go back and forth from the beach to the pool and we needed. The lunch and drinks served at the pool were great too. Friendly staff as well. It is a secluded place in nature which was just what were were looking for to relax and renew."

"Our family enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing summer vacation here and it was such a beautiful setting. The view of the water and mountains and sunsets was truly rejuvenating. And the concerns over internet speeds was a blessing for our two "screenagers" and created less distractions and more puzzles, card games and conversations that we will cherish."
