「We had a nice stay at General Stanton. It’s a very cool old Inn with lots of character and was very clean. We checked in after hours so did not interact with any staff except over the phone but the remote check in process was still easy and we had no issues. Was a convenient and affordable stay for a concert in Matunuck.」
「I just love this motel! It is as clean as a whistle and right across the street from the necest beach. A short drive to restaurants and shopping. I'll be back again and again. 」
「It was a lovely 250 year old stagecoach inn. Our room was on the front next to a road intersection and I am a light sleeper. That being said next time we need to stay in the area i will make sure to have a room on the back over looking the river. Since I am a very light sleeper.
The Inn is very easy to get to and easy acess to most of RI since it is centrally located. Making it a perfect place to stay and see the sights.」
「My stay was perfect. Even though Expedia didn't provide a real oceanfront (instead a sliver of a view), the staff and location more than made up for it. Plus there's a great communal deck with awesome view of ocean and beach. The staff were terrific. When I had my car window smashed in while in Providence, the maintenance guy cleaned it all up. Front desk women (Cassandra and Donna) were friendly and also helpful all around. Great stay. Plan on returning.」

「They did not refresh our towels. Maybe they are super eco friendly, but they removed dirty towels and didn't give us replacements. We had to keep asking for more towels our whole stay. I don't understand why they would not give us any new towels. This is the main reason for the 3 rating」
