Staff was very accommodating. I ordered room service from the restaurant attach the hotel and it was really good and came relatively quick. The hotel is on 57th St. between sixth and seventh, which is a really good walkable location. You can walk to many restaurants, shops, and the theater district.

Great location. We took the Q70 from LGA to the subway and it was a quick walk from 7th and 53rd over to the hotel. Friendly staff on arrival. Love the breakfast each morning. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Overall good experience. The staff was courteous and accommodated our request for early check in. I was a little skeptical after reading some negative reviews about noise, cleanliness, room size, escalator wait time but my stay was actually good. The breakfast options were good. Room size was good and similar to other hotels in the area in the same range and in room kitchen, filtered water amenities were great for us. The staff did mention about noise during weekdays 9 to 5 pm. But i did not experienced it though i was out of my room around 11 AM everyday. Overall i enjoyed my stay here and the location is a plus.

Our stay was definitely just OK. I though Aloft was a higher level brand than places like Fairfield, Springhill Suites, Hyatt Place, Best Western...but it's really not. The room was tiny and there is no desk/chair setup—if you are looking to WFH in your room, this is not the place for you. The king bed was comfortable, the big windows are nice with the city view, and the nightstands have tech plugs (very convenient). The coffee machine was old style; wasn't expecting Nespresso but at least a Keurig would have been nice. Towels were thin. Location (Garden District) is excellent for getting everywhere. The 1 is at the end of the block, the N/R/E/C/M etc were all a block or two away. But for dinner or late night drinks, this neighborhood is not the place to go. Definitely quiet at night, though safe if you're getting back late. Staff were all very nice and friendly. I requested a late checkout and they gave me till noon, which was perfect. And in all the dozens and dozens of hotels I have ever stayed at, 3-5 stars, I have never until now been charged to hold my luggage! $3 for a backpack and $6 for a suitcase. Sure didn't feel like tipping on top of that :/ Would I stay again? Not likely. In this neighborhood I have stayed at other places that were much better.
